Who We Serve

We walk with women nearing homelessness.

Our Mission Begins With Her

Passion for Humanity serves women on the edge of homelessness — women who are ready to rebuild their lives and rediscover their dignity as beloved daughters of God.

We provide more than handouts—we provide a pathway. Through mentorship, accountability, and a holistic faith-based program, we help women rebuild their lives with lasting transformation.

“Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody... is a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.”

St. Teresa of Calcutta

Building Relationships

At Passion for Humanity, we believe that real healing doesn’t happen through a handout — it happens through relationship.

We’re not a shelter. We’re not a program with a clipboard. We are women walking with women, offering our time, our presence, and our hearts.

Each client is known by name, covered in daily prayer, and offered not just material resources — but mentorship, encouragement, and spiritual support. We accompany her as she learns to pray, begins to heal, and takes meaningful steps toward a more stable and hope-filled life.

We choose depth over numbers, quality over speed. That’s why we serve only a small number of women at a time. Transformation takes time. It takes trust. And we believe every woman deserves that.

This is discipleship through the lens of God’s love.

The Crisis We Can't Ignore

Homelessness in Arizona: What You Should Know

Homelessness is not just a housing crisis, but a human crisis. It is the visible sign of deeper wounds: broken systems, unhealed trauma, poverty of relationship, and the absence of hope.

At Passion for Humanity, we believe that healing homelessness begins with understanding it. And that means confronting the uncomfortable realities behind the statistics.

He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

– Proverbs 19:17

These are not just numbers. They’re mothers, daughters, and sisters. They are women created in the image of God — many of whom have simply never been given the tools or the support to begin again.

What Causes Homelessness?

Rising housing costs

Job loss or unstable employment

Lack of childcare

Undiagnosed health issues

Mental illness or addiction

Generational poverty

Divorce or abandonment

No family support system

Systemic gaps in aftercare, rehab, or discharge planning

Why We Must Pay Attention

While physical needs are urgent, spiritual and relational poverty
often run deeper.

Many of the women we serve have been abandoned, overlooked, or unseen by the very systems meant to protect them. They long for stability — but also for love, for peace, and for someone to believe in them.

Our faith compels us to respond not just with food or shelter, but with presence, prayer, and a path to healing.

Awareness Must Lead to Action

Understanding the causes of homelessness is only the first step. The next is compassion, and then accompaniment.

At Passion for Humanity, we invite you to partner with us — to walk alongside these women through prayer, financial support, and professional services.

You can’t do everything. But you can do something.
