How is Passion for Humanity different from other charitable agencies?
- Life transformative services to a small select group of women versus other agencies that provide a limited number of basic survival services to a larger population
- Offers a model of accompaniment and accountability in contrast to handouts
- Faith-based program model that is grounded in a Christian anthropology, which understands each person as having a body, soul, and spirit, and created in the image and likeness of God
How is your donation being used? Your donation may be used for any of the following expenses.
- Housing (if needed)
- Food and toiletries
- Clothing/shoes/jackets
- Transportation (gas and insurance)
- Cell phone
- Household items – towels, sheets, blankets, kitchen supplies
- Nutritional needs
- Professional services
- Subscriptions/fees/tickets

What is the estimated cost of the above referenced expenses?
Monthly $800 to $3,000
Yearly $9,600 to $36,000
The monthly budget is dependent upon the following factors:
- Client has a job
- Client has a place to live
- Client receives state benefits such as WIC, food stamps, health insurance, etc.
- Client owns a vehicle
What is considered success after working with a client?
- Housing stability
- Better equipped to resolve conflict
- Displaying life giving behaviors versus destructive compulsive behaviors
- Beginnings of a prayer life with the Lord
When did Passion for Humanity (PFH) become an IRS nonprofit?
PFH was established as an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on April 19, 2019 – Good Friday
How many people are homeless in Arizona?
- According to the Arizona Annual Report on Homelessness – dated January 2024, it is estimated that 14,737 Arizona residents were experiencing homelessness ( Shelter availability covers 54% of homeless population)
- These figures represent a 29% increase from January 2020 with those homeless estimated at 10,979
What factors are contributing to the increase in homelessness?
- Rising housing costs
- Lack of family or community
- Generational poverty
- Lack of sufficient income due to:
- Obstacles in getting a job or maintaining a job – lost identification, no car, car repairs needed- no savings, recurring undiagnosed health issues
- Mental health issues
- Disabilities
- Lack of education
- Addiction
- Lack of childcare due to cost
- Unique circumstances, divorce or separation, excessive debt
